has any1 ever had a bad experience with washing a webkinz?

my dog ate my webkinz and made him all sticky. i tried rinsing him off with water (he is a lilikinz penguin) but his fur is still sticky. what do u think i should do? im not going 2 get a new 1! i love him too much! he is my baby and i want to do the best thing for him. what do u think i should do and has anyone ever had a bad experience with machine washing a webkinz? did it ever tear?

yes! when i first joined webkinz one of my webkinz (my googles) got dirty. so i washed it and the fir was all stuck together. the googles is my favorite & i couldn’t help it. so my grandma got me a new one & i gave the new code & my old webkinz thanking her! lol! my grandma now has 3 webkinz. i have 25
I have a webkinz Easter duck and it was super dirty so my mom washed it and it is perfectly fine just make sure you don’t dry it let it air dry! Washing it depends on the fabric, but the penguin is the same as the duck so it should be fine!
If it was a pet with the stringy fabric like the googles those should not be washed because the fabric will get tangled!
I have the webkinz Penguin and I would be so depressed if my dog did that!
